Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

Musculoskeletal physiotherapy relates to disorders of the musculoskeletal system, which is of tendons, joints, muscles, ligaments, nerves and cartilage.

It draws on the fundamental sciences of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics to assess and treat patients.

Treatment approaches in musculoskeletal physiotherapy vary from mobilisation / manipulation, postural advice, electrotherapy and therapeutic exercise.
